Life Giving, Life Changing

What is a Small Group?
A small group is made up of people who share similar interests, who are in the same stage of life, or that want to learn from each other.
People gather for all sorts of reasons whether its sport or studying the Bible together.
Every group has a Spiritual / Faith component to the group. Some groups are geared more for people who have never been to church or new to the Christian Faith, while others are for those who want to go deeper and grow in their faith.
Why ?
We base our Small Group model on the early church as described in the Bible in the book of Acts.
In Acts, you can read about the tremendous growth of the first church in Jerusalem, where small group meetings in homes helped lay the foundation.
Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
ACTS 5:42
Why do they exist?
"Our small groups have one simple purpose - to bring people together
God didn't create us to do life alone, but life in community with others and experience the fullness of life that Jesus came to give us.
Meaningful and Authentic relationships are hard to find and that's why we have small groups - to make life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you
Why should I join?
Life together puts perspective on our circumstances and God uses others to bring support and encouragement to our lives and to give it back to others.
Even when you might not realise you need it, your small group will quickly become a place where others don't just know your name but care about what is happening in your life and want to support you to grow in your spiritual journey.

You've signed up brilliant!
We encourage you to commit, even if theres people there you don't know, you soon will! It's an amazing dynamic that takes place in a small group that you don't get at our larger Sunday gatherings. So plan to commit and be there every week! You won''t regret it.

F.A.Q's
We've tried to answer some of the most common questions we get asked
Do I have to go every week?
No. Of Course not. However to get the most out of the group, to develop friendships and to grow we suggest you protect the time and make it every week! You won't regret it!
I don't have internet access or access to a Computer?
We can help. You can sign up at the end of any Sunday Service at our Connection Point, or by using the free wifi in Inspire Cafe throughout the week or Sunday morning #coffeewithacause
What if I don't like my group?
Sometimes groups don't always work out as planned. It happens, and usually its no-ones fault. The good thing is our groups are long enough for relationships to form but short enough there are new groups starting every term, so its not for life!
Can I sign up to multiple groups?
Absolutely. Just don't overcommit. We would prefer you commit to one or two groups and get the most out of them. You know your schedule.
Dilemma I can't decide which group?
It can be difficult right? The key is to go where you think will grow. Choose a group that might stretch you a little, but make sure it still interests you otherwise you might not stay! Still unsure the best thing to do is ask a friend or one of your church leaders who know you and could point you in the right direction.
Can Anyone Attend
Yes anyone can attend our groups. Just be sure to check out the group descriptions to give you a feel and a flavour of what the group is like.. Small groups are a great way to invite friends who maybe don't connect with church
